Share links

Share links let you deliver spatial data to clients as a branded, professional web page. Clients open the link in any browser — no login, no app, no plugins required.

  1. Open a site → go to the Sharing tab
  2. Click New share link
  3. Enter a delivery name (e.g. “Site Survey — March 2026”)
  4. Choose which files to include:
    • All current files — includes all files currently in the site
    • Include future files — new uploads are automatically added to the link
    • Selected files — choose specific files manually
  5. Set the access mode:
    • View only — client can view files in-browser, no downloads
    • Download enabled — client can download original files
  6. Optionally add a header message (e.g. “Thanks for working with us — let us know if you have any questions”)
  7. Click Create and copy the URL

What clients see

When a client opens a share link, they see:

  • Your organisation logo and name
  • The delivery title and site name
  • All files grouped by capture session, with thumbnails
  • An interactive viewer for each file (opens in-browser)
  • Download buttons on each file (if download is enabled)
  • A Download all button per session (if download is enabled)

Clients can switch between card view, list view, and a map view showing file locations.

Access mode can be changed after a link is created.

Branding

Share links inherit branding from the workspace:

SettingWhere to configure
Organisation logoSettings → Organisation
Accent colourSettings → Workspace
Default header messageSettings → Workspace

You can also override the header message per link in the Sharing tab.

From the Sharing tab you can:

  • Copy the URL
  • Edit the name, access mode, and header message
  • Unpublish to revoke access immediately — the URL stops working
  • Republish to restore access

Client feedback

Clients can approve a delivery or request changes directly from the share link — no account required.

At the bottom of the delivery page, clients see two buttons:

  • Approve — marks the delivery as approved. You receive an email notification with the client’s name/email and the timestamp.
  • Request changes — opens a short form where the client can enter their email and a message. You receive an email with their feedback.

Feedback is recorded in the Activity tab on the site and on the share link card in the Sharing tab.

Each share link logs:

  • Number of views and unique visitors
  • When the link was first and last viewed
  • Which files were opened in the viewer

View analytics from the Sharing tab by clicking a link.
