Storage and overage
Storage is the total size of original files across all your workspaces and sites. Check your usage at Settings → Plan & usage.
On Solo and Team, overage is on by default — files above your plan limit are billed at $0.05/GB/mo. You can turn overage off in Settings → Plan & usage to hard-cap your storage instead. The Free plan always has a hard 5 GB cap.
Overage is calculated daily on your average usage above the limit. Monthly plans: the charge is added to your next renewal invoice. Annual plans: it’s issued immediately as a separate invoice.
Seats and team members
Editor seats are people who can upload files, create sites, and manage share links.

Add or remove team members at Settings → Organisation → Team. Every team member is invited as either an Owner or an Editor.
Annual discount
Pay annually and save 15%. Solo: $42/mo ($504/yr). Team: $169/mo ($2,028/yr). Extra Team seats are also discounted on annual: $12.75/seat instead of $15. Switch between monthly and annual from Settings → Plan & usage.
Free plan inactivity
If your Free plan account has no logins and no share-link views for 12 months, we’ll email you before archiving the account. You can reactivate any time by logging in.
Switching, cancelling, refunds
Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from Settings → Plan & usage at any time. No contracts. If you cancel a paid plan, you move back to Free — your data stays, but Free limits apply (5 GB, 3 sites, 5 share links).
Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. Email billing@swyvl.io if you need help.
FAQ
What counts toward storage? Only the original uploaded files. Thumbnails and processed derivatives don’t count.
What happens if I go over my storage limit? On Solo and Team with overage enabled, additional storage is billed at $0.05/GB/mo. With overage disabled, uploads are blocked at the cap.
Can I downgrade? Yes. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. If your storage exceeds the new plan’s limit, you’ll need to remove files or keep overage enabled.
Are client viewers really unlimited? Yes. Your clients never pay, no matter how many people view your share links or how often.
